WHAT'S NEW?

1001 Farrar Road
Completed in early 2008 to high-quality design standards, 1001 Farrar Road is among the most desirable office buildings in suburban Ottawa. The building’s rentable area totals 146,515 sf across three floors. The interior of the building benefits from a dynamic floor plate and mechanical and electrical capacities that are double the minimum standard specified in the Ontario Building Code, allowing for flexibility in use, space allocation and growth. The building is an engineered steel-frame structure with 125-mm thick concrete slabs, clad with a combination of pre-cast panels, curtain wall and punched windows.

Constructed specifically for Dell Canada, the building includes a full service cafeteria, and includes a unique open concept design to accommodate call centre requirements. The site backs on to the Marshes Golf Course, and is capable of accommodating 5.5 parking spaces per 1000 square feet of space.
